Pop star Lewis Capaldi is reported to have bought a house near chart sensation Harry Styles and television power couple Patrick Kielty and Cat Deeley.

The Someone You Loved singer, who grew up in a small village in Scotland, is now putting down roots in Hampstead.

His new mansion - thought to be worth more than £3 million - is next door to a house owned by Harry Styles and close to another bought by This Morning's new presenter Cat Deeley and her husband, Patrick Kielty's home.

The Scottish singer's new north London home is also close to Hampstead Heath, where he is often seen walking with friends.

Harry Styles is also often spotted walking near the Heath - or even taking a dip in one of the swimming ponds there.

A source close to Lewis Capaldi told the Mail Online: "He and Harry are both British superstars who surely will at some point go to war in the charts with their music, yet they live on one another's doorsteps.

"You can only imagine what the conversation is when they bump into one another."

They added that the popstar is "really enjoying" living in Hampstead.

They said: "It's such a beautiful area and not cheap – it just shows you how much money he has made in a relatively short time."

Capaldi, born in Glasgow, moved to East Whitburn in West Lothian with his family at the age of four.

However, after hitting it big in the music industry, he moved to London, initially settling in a plush apartment in Battersea, where he counted another ex-One Direction singer, Niall Horan, as a neighbour.

TV power couple Patrick Kielty and Cat Deeley bought their mansion on the same road in October 2023.

Their new house, a decaying two-storey detached five-bedroom home close to Hampstead Heath, is currently under major refurbishment.

The area also attracts international stars.

American pop icon Taylor Swift is reportedly establishing a permanent base in north London, spending more than £10 million on a property that once belonged to a politician.

Planning documents reveal work is underway to tailor the mansion - complete with a swimming pool and an orangery - to Swift's luxury preferences.
