A college in Camden had to be evacuated and three students were arrested by armed police after a reported knife fight.
It came after reports that a group of people were fighting with knives at the college.
A spokesperson for Capital City College Group, which runs the campus, said that the incident took place outside its premises.
They confirmed that three of the college’s students were arrested by police.
Police have said that there were no reports of any injuries and that enquiries continue.
The Capital City College Group spokesperson said: “We can confirm there were no injuries, and the site was evacuated and closed early as a precaution to ensure the safety of students and staff.
“We would like to thank our students and staff who acted calmly throughout, and the centre is open as usual today with additional safety measures.
“Knife crime in London is an ever-present risk and we do all we can to ensure the safety of students and staff.
“We continue to actively work with several agencies and community groups on preventative measures.”
