LIVEABLE CROUCH END

With local councillors and activists calling on Haringey Council to transform its streets to benefit cyclists and pedestrians as lockdown eases, the town hall revealed it was working on three programmes that would see the borough adapted over the next six months.

A new public consultation into the ideas people living and working in Crouch End have for the Liveable Coruch End Scheme is now live.

“Improvements will need to be made” if the Liveable Crouch End project is to alter road layouts as trialled earlier this year.

Running the Liveable Crouch End trial closure of Middle Lane and Weston Park cost almost £190,000 according to figures released by Haringey Council under the Freedom of Information (FoI) Act.
