Two budding buskers from Camden have made it to the next stage of Gigs competition
Gigs is the Mayor of London’s annual busking competition and has been showcasing young musical talent since 2009 at some of the capital’s busiest and most iconic locations from Saturday 22 July – Sunday 6 August. Sadiq Kahn said: “London is a global capital of culture and we have produced some of the world’s greatest musicians. Many of them start out by busking, and our Gigs competition gives them a fantastic opportunity to showcase their work.”
Two budding buskers from Camden have made it through to the next stage. Bleed These Colours & Matt Ginno are competing in the Soloists & Duos category and are up against 31 other competitors. Young musicians across the capital have been applying to be part of Gigs since March.
