ZFW fencing stars won’t be foiled as they win Champions Cup

ZFW Fencing Club had a successful weekend as a group of their youngsters secured silverware at the Leon Paul Junior Series foil event which was hosted by Newham Swords on Sunday.

Nine-year-old David Sosnov – a Year 5 pupil at Camden’s Fitzjohn’s Primary School – teamed up with Carlo Tarnai, 10, and Rocco Fuschillo, 10, to win the Under-11 gold medals and the Champions Cup at the University of London’s Sportsdock.

ZFW Fencing Club, which is based at South Hampstead High School, is spear-headed by Great Britain Olympic coach Ziemowit Wojciechowski.
