Camden Swiss Cottage duo Jessica Hobbs and Katharine Spooner dominated the 14-year age category in the Fareham Nomads Summer Open meeting at the Quays, Southampton, over the weekend.

Hobbs won nine medals, eight in individual events and the ninth earning her the top 14-year-old female swimmer award.

Spooner grabbed six medals and was runner-up in the top 14-year-old swimmer award.

Naiomi Wakeham-Aredes was placed eight times and won the prize for the top 15-year-old.

In the boys Santiago Parilli won four medals as well as the top 15-year-old prize.

Camden also came second overall in the team event with 538.5 points, just behind meet winners Staines and almost 100 points clear of third-placed County Southampton.

Hobbs took gold in the 50m breaststroke, the 100m breaststroke, the 50m fly, the 100m fly and the 200m medley.

Her silvers came in the 50m free and the 200m free. She also claimed bronze in 50m back.

Spooner landed two golds, two silvers and two bronzes. She won gold in the 200m free and the 50m free. Silvers came in the 50m fly and the 100m fly, respectively, while her third places were in the 200m medley and the 100m breaststroke.

Wakeham-Aredes won gold in 100m breaststroke, 50m breaststroke and 200m medley. She placed second in five events.

Robin Neumann (10) won gold in three events - the 50m back, the 100m back and the 200m free. She also won silver in the 50m free. Emily Drew (16-plus) won silver in the 50m fly.

Meanwhile, Parilli won four medals, two silvers and two bronzes.

His second place came in the 100m free and the 200m medley. He took bronze in the 50m fly and 100m back.

Other 15-year-old medal winners were Liam Coyle, gold in the 100m fly, and Lucas Perry-Hill, silver in both the 50m back and 100m back.

Billy Bradley (12) won silver in both the 100m fly and the 50m breaststroke and was third in 30m fly. Scott Broadis (13) won two silvers in both the 50m and 100m breaststroke.

In the 14-year-old boys Leo Jaggs claimed bronze in 50m fly and Jack Martin won bronze in 100m back.

In the 16-plus boys events, Metin Ayhan was third in the 100m fly as was Callum McDougall in the 50m breaststroke.

Ilya Skliarov claimed silver in 50m breaststroke and bronze in 100m breaststroke.
