West Hampstead suffered a seven-goal mauling after a disastrous second-half performance against Tulse Hill at Brent Cross on Saturday.
The defeat leaves West in seventh place in the Southern League and perilously close to being dragged back into the relegation battle.
Sheldon Braithwaite made a couple of solid saves before Tulse eventually broke the deadlock after winning a penalty-corner on a breakaway.
The visitors made it 2-0 with a second breakaway when Braithwaite was forced to concede another penalty-stroke.
The second-half, in which the visitors scored five further goals, was one to forget for West.
The home side could have given the score a degree of respectability had they not missed two open goals and also saw a number of penalty-corner chances go begging.
Yet, shell-shocked West grabbed a late consolation from Tom Green.
Tomorrow, West entertain Gore Court.
