A depleted UCS Old Boys squad suffered a heavy 60-7 defeat away against Old Streetonians – and they have now lost their last four games in Herts/Middlesex Division One.
Ten first-team players were unavailable and the visitors included three debutants in their line-up so they were always going to be up against it – and Old Streetonians built up a lead with three tries.
UCS hit back with one of their own, Peter Blythe breaking with support from Nils Zettlemeyer before Dave O’Dwyer burrowed under a pile of bodies to touch down, and Nathaniel Breakwell added the extras, but Old Street piled on the points for the rest of the game.
