Women’s National Challenge South East North Two: Haringey Rhinos 67 Marlow 0

Haringey Rhinos’ women’s firsts cruised to a convincing 67-0 win at home to Marlow in National Challenge South East North Two.

Rhinos were on the front foot from off, with sustained aggression enabling a turnover and setting up scrum-half Noemi Nemes for an early try.

Continued pressure on the Marlow defence resulted in tries for centre Louise Bonnet and Rhiannon Ellis.

Prop Ellis quickly added to her tally, scoring her second try of the match after a series of breakthroughs in the gain line.

Bonnet also showed her kicking ability in open play, chipping the ball into the path of Hannah Lloyd-Jones who scored as Haringey led 27-0 at half-time.

Rhinos ran riot in the second period, with Patricia Mbata and Molly McNamara scoring a brace of tries, while Aimee Foulkes and Bonnet also crossed the whitewash.

Haringey are back in action on February 18 when they make the trip to Hitchin in the league.
