North Londoners triumphed 37-34 at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday

As Brent-born Alex Lozowski soundly puts in a nut shell: "It's the result that matters the most."

The utility back was speaking after helping his Saracens side retain their Gallagher Premiership title with a thrilling 37-34 success over Exeter Chiefs in Saturday's final at Twickenham Stadium.

"Exeter played a great game and we were probably not on our best and fortunate to win at the end," admitted a relieved Lozowski.

"Nobody will care about the performance now we've won, so happy days!"

Lozowski himself felt very privileged to be part of a double-winning side, with Saracens adding the domestic title to the Heineken Champions Cup they claimed in Newcastle last month.

"It was a bit of a relief to get over the line," added the 25-year-old.

"It will take a while to sink in, but being in there with all the lads who have all worked so hard and managed to achieve something very special is something I'm privileged and lucky to have been a be part of."

The former Wasps man, though, admits it will be a bigger challenge for the Allianz Park outfit to retain both titles next season.

"It will be very, very difficult to do," he admitted.

"Teams are getting better and better and once you've done something like we have, they are gunning for you.

"The boys are hungry and they want to do it again, so we'll give it our best shot to do that."

Next season will see Saracens take their annual 'Big Game' clash to

Sarries will next season play their annual 'Big Game' fixture to the brand new, state-of-the-art Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the first game of a five-year deal.

And as a Spurs fan himself, that is something which Lozowski already looking forward to.

"I've been to the stadium a couple of times this season to see both the Champions League quarter-final and semi-final games and it's amazing so I'm so eager to play there."

Playing at the home of his beloved Tottenham is sure to be a great experience for Lozowski, much like playing his part in future trophy successes for Saracens.
