Greenlands Lane outfit were without a league game last weekend

Hendon welcome Actonians on Saturday for their first Herts/Middlesex One fixture in two weeks.

With various county cup competitions taking place last weekend, the Greenlands Lane club were without a league game.

It means Hendon have not played in the league since collecting a 22-17 success on their trip to Staines on November 17.

The Greenlands Lane outfit will bid to build on that success this weekend when they host an Actonians side who are currently second-bottom.

However, with Hendon just three points and one place better off than their visitors on Saturday, a win for Actonians would see the teams trade places.

The Greenlands Lane side will be keen to ensure that does not happen as they look for back-to-back wins.

Saturday’s game marks the start of a run of three games over consecutive weekend leading up to Christmas, so Hendon will want to start a busy period with a win.
