UCSOB will be back at Ranulf Road next year, having played at Lyndhurst Gardens during redevelopment
The end of the current Herts/Middlesex One campaign may be fast approaching, but UCS Old Boys already have a reason to look forward to the next campaign.
UCSOB will return to their Ranulf Road base in time for the start of the 2018-19 season, having played games at Lyndhurst Gardens during the redevelopment.
The new development is the vision of University College School, with their grounds in Ranulf Road now boasting state-of-the-art facilities.
The redeveloped ground will be enjoyed by both UCS, as well as the Old Boys rugby club.

“The new facilities will be a magnet for both players and rugby fans alike,” said UCSOB captain Tom Arnold.
“The fields have been levelled and new drainage installed, and there are new changing rooms, training facilities and a modern medical room.
“We hope that the new clubhouse facilities for both the school and Old Boys will attract many new rugby players and fans wishing to join or support the club.
“Our magnificent new bar will act as a social hub for the new development.
“Its walls are adorned with memorabilia celebrating the rich history of UCS sportsmen, including photos and honours boards of rugby players and cricketers dating back to the formation of UCS Old Boys RFC in 1892.”
Prospective new players and social members can contact UCSOBRFC by sending an email to enquiries@ucsobrfc.co.uk, or by visiting their website ucsobrfc.co.uk.
And Arnold hopes that with new facilities to boot, UCSOB can capitalise on the ever-increasing love for the game across the country.
“Rugby’s popularity continues to grow, and on our return to this splendid new home, these modern facilities will help boost the club’s energy and enthusiasm, helping to fuel our desire to for promotion, and return to higher-level rugby,” he added.
