The King Alfred School (KAS) rounders team has won the Barnet borough tournament.
The competition took place at St James’ Catholic High School and the King Alfred team, which was made up of nine girls from Years 7 and 8, won all five of their games to secure their victory.
Sarah Quinn, PE teacher and rounders coach at the Hampstead-based school, said: “The girls have worked so hard this term and played some excellent rounders. It was a pleasure to watch them achieve this well-deserved win.”
