Highgate School hosted a 30-over match between their old boys, Old Cholmeleians, and the celebrity Lord’s Taverners team as part of the school’s 450-year celebrations.
The Taverners were captained by Chris Tarrant and batted first, compiling 154, with Ian Sanderson (3-19) the pick of the bowlers.
Former England and Warwickshire all-rounder Neil Smith bowled tightly for the Taverners, as did Eastenders star Rudolph Walker, but fine knocks by Will Nicoll (50 not out) and captain Jamie Whybrow led the OCs the vistory.
