MIDDLESEX MAY BE STRUGGLING ON THE FIELD BUT THIS WEEK THE LORD'S OUTFIT TIED DOWN FOUR MORE STARS TO NEW DEALS, WRITES PATRICK MOONEY.
ANDREW STRAUSS, TYRONE HENDERSON, MURALI KARTIK AND DAWID MALAN HAVE FOLLOWED OWAIS SHAH IN COMMITTING THEIR FUTURES TO MIDDLESEX.
"WE ARE DELIGHTED THAT KARTIK AND DAWID HAVE RE-SIGNED FOR US," SAID MIDDLESEX CHIEF EXECUTIVE VINNY CODRINGTON. "DAWID IS A REAL STAR OF THE FUTURE AND ONE TO WATCH, AND KARTIK HAS BEEN A GREAT OVERSEAS SIGNING FOR US.
"I'M SURE HE WILL CONTINUE TO BRING EXPERIENCE, INTELLIGENCE AND MOTIVATION TO OUR PREDOMINANTLY YOUNG SQUAD."
