MIDDLESEX have recruited a pair of all-rounders to bolster their squad for the lucrative Stanford Super Series in Antigua later this month.
Neil Dexter has been signed from Kent on a two-year contract to join the 15-man squad that travels to Antigua on October 19.
The 24-year-old, who made a top score of 71 in three championship matches during a loan spell with Essex this season, is considered an important signing by the Lord's outfit.
"We believe he is a major addition to our talented young squad," said Middlesex chief executive Vinny Codrington.
Middlesex have also recruited Neil Carter, 33, on a loan basis from Warwickshire until the end of 2008.
The series begins for Middlesex with back-to-back games against England on October 26 and Trinidad & Tobago the next day. Middlesex then take on the Stanford Superstars on October 30.
