Sessions are the brain child of renowned tennis coach Judy Murray
The London Tennis Academy in Belsize Park is hoping to get more young girls into the sport through sessions invented by renowned coach Judy Murray.
The former captain of the Great Britain Fed Cup team has created ‘Miss Hits’ sessions to run across the country with the view of increasing participation among young girls.
The sessions are designed to introduce the youngsters to tennis in a fun and lively environment.
Those who take part can develop their coordination, get to know all the strokes and learn about the game through the Miss Hits characters.
The London Tennis Academy have two separate Miss Hits sessions, with one aimed at girls aged between five and six, and the other for girls aged from seven to nine.
The sessions run every day of the week, with the younger group from 4-4.40pm and the older group from 4.40-5.30pm.
