Brandon Abraham drove intelligently to make the best of a difficult weekend in round two of British Super One Series.

The talented teenager, who lives in Wood Green and attends Highgate Wood School, travelled up to Cumbria for the event.

Abraham endured a difficult qualification session on the Saturday, as he came 10th in his group, but 24th overall out of 46.

He started his first heat in 16th on the grid and could only manage a 17th-place finish while his second heat was also tough.

Abraham started the second heat in 16th, yet received a penalty for a dislodged bumper and despite finishing 10th, a 10-second penalty meant he dropped to 21st.

Fortunately the Wood Green youngster made it through to Sunday’s finals in 28th place and he impressed.

Abraham, who is sponsored by Castles Estate Agents Crouch End, cut through the pack to make up nine places and finish 19th in final one on the Sunday.

And in the second race, he remained focus despite several incidents around him to come home in 12th.

It was a huge effort by Abraham and continued his development in the British Super One Series.
