HIGHGATE Harriers veteran Allan Sowden rolled back the years at the Veterans Athletics Club Championships at the Millennium Stadium on Sunday.
Islington-born Sowden, who was a Harriers club champion in the late 1960s for the 880 yards and the mile, won the over-70 100m and 200m in 16.3 seconds and 34.5 respectively.
Meanwhile, Richard Stewart was 17th in the Serpentine Last Friday in the Month 5k on Friday, recording 17:42. John O'Shea was 90th in 20:34.
Javier Pes won the Crystal Palace 5k Park run in 17:42 and Rob Walker was third in the Finsbury Park Run in 19:47.
