Haringey Huskies have announced the signing of former Hariney Racers forward Daniel Clayton for the 2017/18 season.
The Alexandra Palace based outfit welcome the former Streatham Redhawks winger into their new-look outfit and think he is ready to step up to the challenge of the increased standard in the NIHL 2.
The 21-year-old forward joined Haringey after having spent time with the Streatham, Bracknell and Invicta junior set ups, notable scoring 95 points in just 19 games at under 16 level.
A club spokesman said: “Daniel will bring size and speed this season, and by the looks of him in first training session on Monday he will also bring a new-found grit in the corners.”
In 70 games at NIHL 2 level Clalyton has lit the lamp 28 times and assisted 52 times for 80 points to go alongside 68 penalty minutes and also iced for the Streatham Redhawks in NIHL1 during the last few seasons.
