Local clubs suffered frustrating defeats last time out, so they’ll look to put it right this evening
Haringey Borough head to Canvey Island this evening looking to get back on track in the Bostik North.
Tom Loizou’s team were the only unbeaten side in the division heading into Saturday’s clash at struggling Brentwood Town.
Town turned the formbook on its head, however, to secure a 2-0 win with Matt Price and Shomari Barnwell on target.
It was a disappointing result for Borough and they’ll look to show their title credentials this evening at third-placed Canvey.
The Islanders are one place above Haringey with 33 points to their name having played two games more this season.
A Borough win tonight though, and Loizou’s team will move up to third and close the gap on leaders Dereham Town.

Wingate & Finchley are also seeking a response this evening after suffering a 4-0 thrashing at Leatherhead on Sunday.
Keith Rowland’s team were second best throughout and trailed after just 20 minutes to a Jack Midson goal.
Liam Nash, on-loan from Gillingham, then took over and bagged a first-half hat-trick to give the Tanners more success after they had beat Billericay Town in an FA Cup first round replay days earlier.
Wingate travel to Enfield Town tonight hoping to provide a reaction and get back on track in the Bostik Premier.
