Hampstead & Westminster dropped to seventh place in the table after suffering a 1-0 home defeat against struggling Brooklands MU in the Men’s Premier Division.

The visitors, who are lying in the bottom two, travelled down from Manchester and had to soak up early pressure at Paddington Recreation ground.

But H&W were unable to take their chances and paid the price when they fell behind in the 20th minute. The home side battled for an equaliser but were unable to find one.
