Hampstead’s Romario Godfrey-Brown is being given extra tuition by Boris Becker in a bid to secure a place as a Barclays Ball Kid at the ATP World Tour finals.
The 13-year-old has beaten off 2,500 other hopefuls to reach the last 130, who have all received expert guidance from the three-times Wimbledon champion.
Only 30 youngsters will be selected for the finals that take place at the O2 centre in November and Godfrey-Brown, who attends Hampstead School, has his fingers crossed that he will be one of the lucky few.
