Hampstead Ladies beat Hammersmith and Fulham 12-0 to leapfrog their opponents and go second in the Women’s Championship South East Two table.
Chasing hard from the first whistle, Hampstead dominated in terms of territory and they were rewarded when second row Rosie Hunt marked her birthday with the opening try.
Anne Jones also went over for Hampstead, while Kerrie Ann Truck added a conversion to secure her side’s seventh victory in eight league games.
Hampstead head into the new year in a healthy position, just two points behind front-runners Blackheath in the third tier of the national pyramid.
Their next league fixture is away to Old Albanians on Saturday January 12.
