Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino says it was important for confidence not only Champions League points as they sealed a huge 5-0 victory over Red Star Belgrade.
Braces from Harry Kane and Heung Min-Son as well as a goal from Argentine Erik Lamela ended their three game winless run at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and to move them up to second in their group.
And the boss understands the club's current predicament but feels they are slowly coming back together and can build on this win.
"Yes of course, it was so important, an important result for our confidence and to add three points in the table for us was very, very important tonight. Of course very pleased.
"After the second half against Watford I was happy, not great as I told you, now the same, not great but good. I feel good. We start to see that it's only time that we need to recover our best feelings.
"We need to build that confidence of course. We need to go step by step, being solid again and that is only the first step, like the second half at Watford, to build again our confidence and try to perform in the way that we and everyone expect."

Spurs still have three matches left to progress into the next stage of the Champions League which Pochettino knows will be a tough.
"I think still we need to work hard. We have three more games and they're going to be very tough in Belgrade and Munich with Olympiacos here.
"It's still all open. The most important thing is that we are better than last season and in a better position. It's in our hands now.
"Last season we depended not only on our results but what happened in different stadiums. Of course we're in a better position than last season."
He also wanted to thank the fans for their support as they sang his name during the match.
"I say thank you, I want to be grateful with them.
"I think the same love is in both ways. I feel that they love me and I think they need to feel that I love them too.
"But I think always the most important is the team, the players are the principal actors and always I am here to help the club and help them to be happy, like it was the previous season."
