Champions League: Tottenham Hotspur 4 Olympiacos 2
Tottenham Hotspur sealed their progress into the knock-out stages of the Champions League as they fought back to win 4-2 against Olympiacos in Jose Mourinho's first home match in charge.
Spurs found themselves 2-0 down early on thanks to Youssef El Arabi and Ruben Semedo but a brace from Harry Kane and goals from Dele Alli and Serge Aurier sealed the three points to see them through the group stages with one match to spare at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho was forced to make one change to the side that sealed a 3-2 win over West Ham United in his first match in charge with Danny Rose coming in to replace the injured Ben Davies.
The visitors Olympiacos started the match brightly and had the first chance of the game in the third minute as Giorgos Masouras drove a shot towards goal but it didn't trouble the hosts.
Only three minutes later they broke the deadlock as Youssef El Arabi fired into the bottom left corner to break the deadlock from distance to give them an early lead.
Spurs had their first real chance in the 14th minute of play when Harry Winks picked out Heung-Min Son with a free-kick.
The Korean International however had his header denied by goalkeeper Jose Sa who pushed it round the post for a corner which led to a clearance up the pitch.
Shortly after Daniel Pondence broke clear for the Greek outfit as Harry Winks touch was too heavy and fell into the attacker's path - thankfully Davinson Sanchez raced across to block his shot.
Olympiacos did double their lead in the 19th minute as defender Ruben Semedo poked home an inswinging corner from xxxx.
Two minutes later Spurs striker Harry Kane was put through on goal by Lucas Moura, but the England captain fired wide of the left post.
In the 39th minute Heung-Min Son raced forward as he looked to create a spark for the hosts but was stopped dead in his tracks by Semedo who received a booking for his heavy challenge.

Kane stepped up to take the resulting free-kick, the 26-year-old struck it over the wall, but his effort landed on top of the goal net.
On the stroke of half-time Mourinho's men pulled one back as Dele Alli slotted the ball home at the back post as Serge Aurier's cross from right flank went under the foot of Yassine Meriah to reach the attacking midfielder.
Five minutes into the second-half Spurs were level as a quick Aurier throw-in caught Olympiacos out allowing Moura to race forward and cut a pass back for Kane inside the box.
The prolific striker found the back of the net to make it 2-2.
Spurs had a glorious chance to take the lead in the 70th minute as Alli was brought down on the edge of the box leading to a free-kick in a dangerous position.
Danish International Christian Eriksen stepped up but drilled a shot wide of the target.
Three minutes later they did take the lead as right-back Aurier volleyed home from the right side of the box - firing between the legs of an Olympiacos defender on the way through.
Much to Mourinho's delight they then netted a fourth as Eriksen found the head of Kane from a free-kick for him to nod home for his second of the match following Alli being brought down on the attack.
The hosts then ran the clock down by holding onto possession of the ball to earn the three points that means they progress into the knock-out stages of the European competition.
