Rianna Dean was pleased to see Tottenham show their clinical side as they overcame a “tough” test against Barnsley to reach the fifth round of the Women’s FA Cup with a 5-0 victory.
Dean struck twice in the win, opening the scoring in the 20th minute before making it 3-0 from the penalty spot after Dutch defender Siri Worm had scored a fine free-kick - all three goals coming in the space of seven minutes.
Gemma Davison and substitute Elisha Sulola also got on the scoresheet in the second half as the Women's Super League outfit ran rampant against a struggling fourth-tier Barnsley side.
Tottenham forward Dean said: "We're all really pleased, we knew that it wasn't going to be an easy game. Full credit to Barnsley, they've come out there and they gave it a tough game.

"We knew we had to be clinical, we knew we were going to get chances but we knew we had to finish it."
Tottenham head coach Juan Amoros was also delighted with his side's dominant performance and was quick to praise their "fantastic" opponents as well.
"We did some rotations and they worked well. We've got Elisha playing in only her second appearance for the first team and getting a goal, there were no injuries and we got a clean sheet," he said.
"I think in this game, it's important to get the first goal, that was our target, to get it early.
"1/8 Barnsley 3/8 were fantastic. To be at that level in tier four, they were very good, very organised and very respectful."
Looking ahead to Monday's fifth-round draw, Amoros said: "You never know who you're going to get. We will take whoever comes and we will try to go as far as we can."
