MUCH has changed since Spurs, who travel to Ewood Park tomorrow, lost to Mark Hughes' outfit at the Lane back in October.
That week saw the arrival of new Tottenham boss Juande Ramos, who has turned the Lilywhites season around. But this season's Carling Cup winners remain 11 points adrift of Rovers.
Hughes's squad have already amassed 50 points from their 32 league games and are targeting European football next season.
But Rovers know they face a tough task to grab another UEFA Cup spot - they trail fifth placed Everton by seven points.
Blackburn require nothing less than a repeat of October's 2-1 victory. However Rovers, with just one victory in their last four league games, will be expecting much of sharp-shooter Roque Santa Cruz. He has burst to prominence in recent weeks and netted the first goal in their 2-1 loss at Upton Park.
The in-form striker franked his form in the next match when he bagged a brace in the 3-1 win over Wigan.
Santa Cruz is likely, once again, to be joined up front by Jason Roberts, who has forced his way into the starting line up after a spell on the bench.
Ex-Gunner David Bentley has been rewarded for his consistency with a first-team place while Brad Friedel continues to be one the division's top keepers.
Skipper Ryan Nelson, who returned from injury in the 0-0 draw at Reading last week, is expected to play.
