PAUL Ince's Blackburn seek to get back on track when they meet Tottenham in Sunday's early kick-off at the Lane (1.30PM).
Ince's outfit, currently slumped in 18th place with just 13 points, will be hell-bent on keeping their noses in front of 19th placed Tottenham, who trial them by a solitary point.
Ince, a former England skipper and Manchester United star, took over the reins at Ewood Park after the departure of former boss Mark Hughes in the close season.
Ince made the perfect start to his Premier League managerial career when Rovers opened their campaign with a gritty 3-2 win over Everton.
A 1-1 draw against Hull followed and Ince continued the perfect start when they beat Grimsby 4-1 in the second round of the Carling Cup.
But the opening hat-trick proved to be a false dawn for Rovers who have only won twice in the league since.
Rovers need to improve on their last league game, a 2-1 loss to Sunderland after leading at half time and they will welcome the return to form of Roque Santa Cruz, who netted in the 2-1 defeat of Sunderland in the Carling Cup three days earlier.
Former Lilywhite Paul Robinson went straight into the first team following his transfer from Tottenham.
Carlos Villanueva (Audax Italiano) and Vincenzo Grella (Torino) both hope to become first team regulars.
