JERMAINE Jenas yesterday urged his Tottenham team-mates to turn White Hart Lane into a fortress for the rest of the season, writes Patrick Mooney.

Rock-bottom Spurs aim to round off an encouraging first week under new boss Harry Redknapp with all three points against Liverpool tomorrow.

The Lilywhites defeated Bolton 2-0 on Sunday - their first in the league this season - and then battled back to draw 4-4 draw against Arsenal at The Emirates on Wednesday night.

"We've had two good results now and if we can beat Liverpool it will be end a very good week," Jenas exclusively told Wood&Vale Sport.

"As players we know we need to make the Lane a fortress, especially if we are going to to get ourselves out of this situation. We need to start churning out results at home."

And Jenas, who again skippered the side in the absense of Ledley King, was full of praise for new boss Redknapp.

"Harry has instilled a confidence in the squad," he said. "We can feel the belief coming back into us on the field. We know we can get these sort of results now.

"We also realise we are in a bad position but we are putting everything in every game. We are putting our heart and soul into it and I think Wednesday performance epitomised it.
