KENTISH Town dropped further into relegation trouble after conceding 13 goals in two heavy defeats.

Town were trounced 9-0 by second-placed Aylesbury last Thursday before losing 4-0 to Dunstable Town on Saturday.

The defeats leave them perched one place and three points above the relegation zone, but having played three games more than the team below them.

The match against Aylesbury will be one that Town will want to forget after Greg Williams started the rout on 16 minutes.

Williams went on to grab his hat-trick as no less than seven players made it onto the scoresheet for Aylesbury.

Speaking after Thursday's game Town manager Rakatahr Hudson said: "The players are understandably disappointed but I have challenged their mental strength, and asked them to learn from the experience."

But things didn't get any better later in the week as injuries mounted up for Kentish Town and they were forced to field a weakened side for their trip to Dunstable.

Town got off to the worst possible start when the home side took the lead after just two minutes.

Despite some superb saves from Town goalkeeper Tony Linehan, Dunstable increased their lead from a long throw to make it 2-0 at half-time and doubled the score in the second half.
