The Maurice Rebak Stadium club beat Dorking Wanderers 2-0 on Saturday and then held their presentating evening for the 2017/18 season

Wingate & Finchley held their 2017/18 presentation evening for the senior teams after their final Bostik Premier home game of the season on Saturday afternoon.

Keith Rowland’s team defeated Dorking Wanderers 2-0 and goalkeeper Shane Gore didn’t only pick up a clean sheet.

The Blues custodian followed on from last year’s honours by claiming two awards, one from the Directors and one from his fellow players.

Meanwhile the popular Rob Laney claimed the Supporters’ award for the second time and Peter Rebak, celebrating his 50th year with the club, presented Jake Eales with the Young Player of the year award.

Boss Keith Rowland chose Reece Beckles-Richards as his Player of the season and Martin Addison, official club photographer for over ten years, picked up the Club Person of the year award.

Two under-23 award winners, Luke Alfano and Isaac Ebelebe, had earlier won the joint man of the match award in the victory over Dorking; the latter having notched his first club goal too with a Beckles-Richards’ goal wrapping up the 2-0 win.
