Kieran Gibbs made a dream debut for England U21s in their 7-0 thrashing of Azerbaijan on Monday evening.

The Arsenal fullback, who started in defence before moving into midfield for Stuart Pearce's side, netted twice and set up another in the friendly win in Milton Keynes.

First, the 19-year-old Lambeth born defender, claimed an assist for Craig Gardner's goal - England's third of the night - before scoring the fifth and sixth goals of an emphatic performance prior to the Young Guns' Euro U21 campaign in Sweden, which kicks off against Finland on Monday.
