THE U18s are three points clear at the top of the Premier Academy League after a 1-1 draw with Coventry at London Colney.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas gave the Gunners the lead before sloppy defending allowed City to equalise with just 10 minutes to go.

Gunners boss Steve Bould said: "Had we taken the chances we should have done we could have won the game by four, five or six.

"The lads are disappointed they got the equaliser through really bad defending.
