Arsenal reserves manager Neil Banfield said his side deserved to win after only managing a 0-0 draw at ten-man Chelsea on Monday night.

Blues winger Miroslav Stoch saw red after 75 minutes at Brentford's Griffin Park when he kicked out at Arsenal's Craig Eastmond, but despite their numerical advantage the visitors failed to take advantage as they drew a blank in front of goal for a fourth successive game.

Banfield, though, isn't worried. "I was very pleased with our performance," he said.

"I thought we dominated the play in the first half - we really could have had a couple of goals."

Arsenal's next league match is the rearranged north London derby against Spurs to be played at Barnet's Underhill ground on Thursday April 9, kick off 7pm.
