Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal threw away a lead to lose 2-1 to Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Gunners went 1-0 up through Alexandre Lacazette on 14 minutes after a clinical finish from a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang cross.
However Wenger’s disappointing side, which included Joe Willock making his Premier League debut, allowed Rafa Benitez’s side back in the game after Ayoze Perez equalised on 29 minutes.
Worse was to come for Arsenal after Matt Richie sealed three points for the home side on 68 minutes as the Newcastle revival gathered pace after their fourth win in a row – on boss Benitez’s birthday.
Arsenal on the other hand remain in sixth with Burnley only two points behind.
