Arsenal fans mourn the passing of club legend David Rocastle, who dies of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, aged 33. Former team-mate and childhood pal Ian Wright breaks down in tears on his radio show as he learns the news. The Gunners respond with a 2-0 win over Tottenham, Robert Pires - wearing Rocky's No7 shirt - opens the scoring before Thierry Henry seals the three points.

The club fails in its bid to stop street trader Matthew Reed from selling unofficial Arsenal merchandise around Highbury - a ruling which could have a potentially massive effect on all professional clubs. Meanwhile, Marieanne Spacey scores twice as Arsenal Ladies beat Tranmere 3-0 to win the Women's Premier League Cup for a record sixth time.
