The Gunners must wait a little longer to confirm Uefa Cup qualification after drawing a blank at home to FA Cup finalists Liverpool.

A 0-0 draw means Arsenal must win their final home game of the season against relegated Bolton Wanderers to seal a place in next season's competition. Arsenal were missing the injured Ian Wright, who was out with a groin strain, and Liverpool boss Roy Evans admitted: "If Wright had played, I think they would probably have won. His pace is always a threat - it was nice for us that he wasn't there."

John Hartson and Martin Keown missed the best of the chances in front of Arsenal's biggest league gate of the season - 38,323.
