Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says Laurent Koscielny will be available to play against Hull on Saturday.

The French defender was taken off at half time against Leicester last weekend with a hamstring injury and his fitness was in doubt ahead of the Gunners’ FA Cup fifth round game against Steve Bruce’s side.

But he will now be full fit and ready to play, pending a late fitness test.

“It will be a strong, normal side,” Wenger said. “Koscielny will be available.

“He has a test today but I think it will be positive.

Fellow defender Gabriel will not play, however, as he recovers from a knee injury he suffered before the Leicester game.

“Gabriel is still out and honestly I believe in one more week he’ll be back,” Wenger said. “He started yesterday but I think he has one more week.”

Wenger also confirmed that Jack Wilshere needs at least another three weeks to recover from his long-term ankle injury.
