Tributes were paid to Arsenal Double-winning manager Bertie Mee OBE, who died aged 82.

Terry Neill, who succeeded Mee as manager in 1976, said: "I could talk for hours to Bertie. He gave you that feeling that you were all in it together. I have the utmost respect for the man."

Mee's skipper Frank McLintock added: "He was very proud, a bit pompous even - I thought he was bit like Captain Mainwairing in Dad's Army, but he did a fantastic job for the Arsenal. Bertie had amazing presence."

On the pitch, Blackburn's England U21 captain David Dunn scored twice - including a last minute equaliser - as Rovers snatched a 3-3 draw at Highbury.

Arsenal remained league leaders but Patrick Vieira was fuming afterwards: "We lacked discipline and organisation.

"We have to kill the game by really staying strong defensively or keeping the ball ... sometimes we are going forward too much.
