Boo-boy turned rampaging supersub, Emmanuel Eboue, isn't doing too much to endear himself to Arsenal fans.

He admitted to LE QUOTIDIEN DU FOOT this week that he'd fancy a stint in Ligue 1:

"I don't believe I will break my contract at Arsenal, but I would like to try something new at some point," he told the paper.

"One day I would like to play in Ligue 1. I like that league, there are a lot of surprises and developments.

"If PSG officials were to offer me a deal, the reply would be positive. Next summer we will have to see."

Meanwhile, 'Mad' Jens Lehmann, who'll hang up his gloves next summer, has been reminiscing about his time at Arsenal.

BILD quotes the former Arsenal stopper: ""For me, to play in a foreign country was a great experience. I think to play in a foreign league makes you more admired in your own home country. I don't think I would have become the number one national-team keeper if I had stayed in Germany.

"Obviously with Arsene Wenger in England I had to learn the overall pace of that game. That was very important for me."

Lehmann's former team-mate, Ray Parlour, says the current squad needs strengthening in the transfer window.

He told TALKSPORT: "I'd like to see Arsene Wenger maybe get a couple of players in January to freshen it up because with the title run in come April you need a big squad."

The station also outed yet another celebrity Gooner on Tuesday morning - the Reverend Richard Coles, an ebullient man of the cloth and one time keyboard player in 80s pop act The Communards.

THE SUN reports Arsenal WAG Melanie Slade got a nice little runaround for her 21st birthday - a £140,000 Ferrari California from long-term boyfriend Theo Walcott.

A 'source' told the paper: "Melanie is over the moon .. she's even got a personalised number plate.

"She was scared of driving it at first but took it for a spin in London to get rid of her nerves."

Finally, fragile Czech star Tomáš Rosický has been talking about what it's like to play against Tottenham, although he didn't last Saturday.

In a Q&A on UEFA.COM, he said: "These kinds of games are not about hating opposition players. You could see on Saturday, even though it was a very hard match, there were no brutal tackles or fouls. There was always respect among the players. That is good and how it should be."

What would Steve Williams or Tony Adams say to that?

Finally, former Gunner Ian Wright celebrated his 46th birthday on LIVE AT STUDIO FIVE on Tuesday with a cake and Welsh songstress Kathryn Jenkins, looking genuinely shocked, telling him "I honestly can't believe you're so old!
