Tomas Rosicky admits Arsene Wenger is not exactly delighted that he may play a part in the Czech Republic's World Cup qualifier with bitter rivals Slovakia on Saturday - despite last making an Arsenal first team appearance 20 months ago.

Czech daily Pravo quotes Rosicky, recovering from a knee injury, as saying him saying Wenger is "not really happy" about it, but added: "I think there's no reason why I shouldn't play as long as I'm ready for the game. Of course it's not ideal, but my manager Mr Wenger understands how important the game is for us."

Not sure about that one, chum ...

Ex-Gunner Emmanuel Adebayor, up there alongside Teddy Sheringham and Ashley Cole in the Arsenal popularity stakes, tells Sky Sports he is looking forward to facing his former pals on Saturday week. "I will play against all my old friends - Gael Clichy, Alex Song, Emmanuel Eboue. It will be a tough game for us. We know how good Arsenal are .. (but) we have a chance to win because we are playing at home."

However, AZ Alkmaar coach Ronald Koeman is NOT looking forward to facing Arsenal in the Champions League. He's already been beaten by the Gunners when he was coach of PSV and Ajax, and he told the Noordhollands Dagblad: "I don't know whether this has anything to do with me... I must admit that Arsenal will not worry too much about taking on AZ."

And after Bottlegate, at Old Trafford, Arsene Wenger found an unlikely ally in former United midfielder Lou Macari.

He told the Stone Sentinel: "I never thought I'd say this but I am 100 per cent behind Wenger .. he was shabbily treated,

"So Wenger kicked off a water canister in frustration? Big deal!"

And for this week's Youtube offering, type in 'Theo Walcott Tattoo' to check out Arsenal's injury-prone star taking time out from his latest rehabilitation course to get some rather questionable artwork on his arm as part of a new Nike ad campaign.
