Arsenal Ladies played their first game in almost a month when they hammered Colchester United 7-0 in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday. The holders were kept out by their Southern Division opponents for 37 minutes before Katie Chapman struck twice

Arsenal Ladies played their first game in almost a month when they hammered Colchester United 7-0 in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday.

The holders were kept out by their Southern Division opponents for 37 minutes before Katie Chapman struck twice before the break.

New signing Helen Lander and defender Laura Basset both netted their first goals for the club after the interval, while Scotland midfielder Kim Little hit a hat-trick as Vic Akers' side progressed easily.

On Sunday they entertain title rivals Chelsea in the Premier League at Boreham Wood FC, kick off 2pm.
