A brother and sister from Hendon Golf Club both won their events in the 11th round of the Shires Junior Golf Tour in Bedfordshire.

Manato Nakatani won the Silver Division, carding back-to-back birdies on the third and fourth holes and then finishing with a birdie to record a score of 40 points.

The 12-year-old, whose handicap could now drop into single figures for the first time, finished one point clear of the chasing pack.

His younger sister Haruhi was even more impressive in the Bronze Division as she compiled a winning total of 44 points, ending up seven points clear of her closest challenger.
