Black belt Jade Doran collected a gold and a silver medal at the UK Open Taekwondo Championships in Guildford.

The 16-year-old, a member of the United Kingdom Tae Kwon-Do Dojangs (UKTD) at Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre, added to her growing medal haul.

That includes two hard-earned golds at the 2014 Welsh Open and a bronze medal from the recent European Championships in Tallinn, Estonia.

Doran has earned a highly-coveted place in the England national squad, taking her around the world to represent her country.

Anyone interested in following in Jade’s footsteps – learning how to defend yourself, boost your confidence, develop stamina and have a fun and interesting workout through taekwondo – should visit the UKTD website at www.taekwondo-uktd.co.uk or call 07949 612 706.
