North Middlesex seconds sealed back-to-back league titles with three matches to spare after their 164-run win over Brondesbury.
Captain John Mills (102) led his side to 250, before Connor Nurse (3-16) and Will Nicoll (3-18) led the way as Brondesbury were skittled for 86 in 24 overs.
And an 11th win in 15 outings left them team 33 points clear of their nearest rivals at the top of the table, ensuring they would be crowned champions once again.
“I’m extremely proud of the lads,” said skipper Mills. “This has never been achieved at the club and the majority of the side is home-grown talent who have come through our outstanding colts set-up.
“It’s great to see Luke Hollman, Joe Cracknell and Ethan Bamber now playing regular 1st XI cricket and we’ve made several astute signings.
“Rich Carroll, opening the bowling, has taken over 100 league wickets in three but is relocating back to York and will be greatly missed.
“Many of the side used to play 1st XI which has brought experience and guidance to the younger boys coming through.
“There’s no reason we can’t make it three out of three next season and as our under-19s prepare for the final of the Middlesex Cup the future looks very bright.”
