The Tivoli Road club have again hit form heading into the second half of the season, like they did in 2018
Hornsey will eye a third win in a row on Saturday when they host Middlesex County Division Two promotion rivals Brondesbury.
Garfield Struthers' men have finally hit form after a sticky patch and are now just 13 off second-placed Brentham.
Brondesbury are third - two places and five points better off than Hornsey, but the Tivoli Road club have momentum on their side.
Last weekend, they hosted Winchmore Hill and won a low-scoring encounter by four wickets to move up to fifth in the standings.
Struthers' called correct at the toss and put the visitors into bat and they were dismissed for 88 inside 35 overs.
Arthur George did the bulk of the damage, taking 5-34, but Jack Bruce also showed his class with 3-17 from 11 overs.
The chase was not straight-forward though, but 41 from opener Tayo Walbrugh ensured Hornsey stayed on track.
Even though he was caught with 26 more runs needed, Ayush Sahota hit 16 not out to get the hosts over the line and extend their winning run to two games.
