The Shepherd's Cot club have moved up to fifth in the table after a seven-wicket win at home on Saturday
Highgate eased any growing relegation worries in the Middlesex County Division Two with a comprehensive victory at home to Eastcote last weekend.
Without captain Muz Ali, Sandum Dias led the side and decided to field after calling correctly at the toss.
The stand-in skipper opened the bowling and enjoyed great success, taking 6-38 from 12 overs at Shepherd's Cot.
Uzair Amjaid supported Dias well on his way to 3-33 as bottom of the table Eastcote were dismissed for 105 inside 30 overs.
It was a below-par total, but when Hasnain Ali was caught for a 10-ball duck, there was some slight concern Highgate's chase may not be straightforward.
Opener Callum Fraser stuck around though, and found support in Dias, who smashed 39 off 27 balls with four maximums and three fours.
This ensured Highgate got home for the loss of only three wickets and with plenty of overs to spare.
Fraser finished unbeaten on 42 to help the Shepherd's Cot club move onto 70 points and they host Hornsey next in a crucial match for both side's faint hopes of going up as runners-up to likely Division Two winners Crouch End.
