Captain Adam Wilson is keen to welcome members of the community to Brondesbury’s Harman Drive home tomorrow (Friday) as the club continue their preparations for the new season.
Brondesbury has been chosen as one of Middlesex CCC’s four figurehead clubs for the NatWest CricketForce 2016 weekend, when members of the public are invited and encouraged to get involved with their local cricket clubs and help them get their facilities ready for the summer’s play.
“We want Brondesbury to become a hub for the local community – a place where residents can come and enjoy the facilities, whether that be as a playing member, a social member or someone who comes and supports the team and uses the bar,” Wilson told Ham&High Sport.
“We are always looking to attract new members, players and sponsors, so if anyone is interested in coming down and getting involved, Friday will be a fantastic opportunity.
“Any help will be hugely appreciated. Even the donation of some sandwiches, for example, or the use of a rubbish skip, would go a long, long way to making the event a real success.”

Middlesex CCC are expected to send players to the event and organise a ‘Great Middlesex Bake-Off’ around midday, along with ‘The CricketForce Challenge’, while the day will finish with a barbecue.
