Hendon’s Manato Nakatani made it a family double on the British Junior Golf Tour’s Super Six Series as he booked his grand final place by winning the elite gross prize in the second round at Cambridge Meridian Golf Club.

With younger sister Haruhi securing the challenge gross prize a fortnight earlier, Manato wasn’t to be outdone as he produced a consistent display in the damp conditions.

The 12-year-old carded 11 gross pars and seven bogeys in a winning score of 80 as he nudged one shot ahead of Zac Castledine, who lifted the net prize.

The third round of British Junior Golf Tour’s Super Six Series, which takes place at Park Hill Golf Club in Leicestershire on Sunday, March 26, will feature over 120 young golfers.
